The building

The crown jewel of Stoughton

Built in 1901 on the second and third floors of City Hall, the Opera House was made for the sound of an unamplified voice. It still sits in the sweet spot for acoustic perfection.

Our history

Are the seats as hard as they say?

The original wooden seats from 1901 are still going strong, but now with cushions! Much kinder on the behind.
